Journal of Visualized Experiments November 27, 2006

Here is a fantastic initiative: the newly-launched Journal of Visualized Experiments publishes videos of experimental procedures. These videos are actually fun to watch (I liked the one showing the dissection of fly ovaries).

The protocol section of OpenWetWare also has resources related to experimental procedures. However, I wasn’t able to find any videos there.

Ajax genome browser November 14, 2006

This new genome browser prototype uses Ajax techniques (used initially in Google Maps). Promising stuff.
